Hybrid Event Production for Live Events
Experts in hybrid event video production.
Whether you are streaming to Microsoft Teams, Zoom, YouTube, LinkedIn or Instagram, we carry your event to them. We also stream to your own platform over RTMPS, NDI, SRT or SMPTE ST 2110. Better still, we bring those people back into the room through any of those platforms, or all of them at once. So gassProductions supplies the whole thing as one turnkey solution. That can include live captioning, subtitling and BSL (British Sign Language) interpretation. It can also include translation into any language, transcription and post production edits of each session. Of course, we keep it simple instead, if simple is what your event needs.
Live Streaming to Microsoft Teams

Town halls, all-hands and results days put half the company in the room and half at their desks. So we deliver a broadcast-grade camera mix straight into Microsoft Teams. Speakers, slides and graphics all arrive in one clean programme feed. Microsoft retired Teams live events in June 2026. Therefore we stream into the town hall experience that replaced them, and your IT team has nothing to untangle. Every camera and the programme mix are recorded as we go. Meanwhile a backup encoder stands ready, so a dropped connection never takes you off air.

Live Streaming to YouTube

YouTube Live gives your event the widest possible reach. Go public for the world, or unlisted for an invited audience. First, we run the full broadcast chain: a multi-camera mix, branded picture-in-picture and lower thirds. Then dual bonded encoders carry it out, with automatic cloud failover behind them. As a result, the stream stays up even when one connection does not. Our team moderates the chat live from the gallery. Finally, the moment you come off air, the recording sits on your channel as on-demand content.
Live Streaming to Zoom

Sometimes the remote audience needs to take part, not just watch. So we feed Zoom webinars and meetings with a professional multi-camera mix instead of a webcam. We can host the webinar for you. We also bring remote speakers and press face to face with the room, on screens in the venue. Meanwhile our operators moderate every question live through Zoom Q&A. In practice, this is the setup we use for press conferences and awards nights. Audiences join from around the world and still feel part of the night.

Live Streaming to LinkedIn

LinkedIn Live reaches a business audience better than any other platform. However, you cannot go live from the app. LinkedIn asks for an approved tool or a professional RTMP feed, plus access criteria on your page. So we handle both sides for you. First we sort eligibility and scheduling on the company page. Then we feed it a broadcast-grade encoder stream. As a result, your conference, panel or launch lands in the feeds of the people you want watching.
Live Streaming to Instagram

Instagram Live puts your event in front of the audience that already follows you. Because the format is vertical, we build a mix framed for portrait from the start. We run it alongside the main platforms, never instead of them. Meanwhile we capture everything cleanly as the event unfolds. So the best moments become reels and stories once you wrap. In short, one production covers every aspect ratio, in the room and on a phone.

Remote Guests at Your Event

Not every speaker can be in the building. So we bring remote guests into the room on your screens, full screen or beside the stage. First they get a tech check, a backup connection and a proper briefing. Then a dedicated operator mixes them live, like another camera. As a result, the room sees and hears them clearly, and they see and hear the room. The conversation flows both ways. Indeed, this is how we put remote press face to face with the people on stage.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a hybrid event and a virtual event?
A virtual event happens entirely online, with no physical venue and every attendee joining through a streaming platform. A hybrid event runs both at once, an in-person audience in the room plus a remote audience watching a live broadcast. Hybrid is the more demanding of the two, because you are effectively running a live event and a television broadcast side by side.
What internet connection does a hybrid event need?
A dedicated, wired connection with guaranteed upload bandwidth. Venue guest wifi is not suitable for a live broadcast. We specify the requirement during the site visit and, where a venue cannot provide it, we bring bonded cellular as either the primary connection or a backup.
What happens if the venue internet fails mid-stream?
We plan for it. Standard practice is a bonded cellular backup that takes over automatically, plus local recording on every camera so nothing is lost regardless of what the connection does. If the stream drops, the recording continues and the content is still deliverable afterwards.
Can you stream to more than one platform at the same time?
Yes. We can push simultaneously to platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Vimeo alongside a private or registration-gated player, so an internal audience and a public audience can be served from the same production.
What affects the cost of a hybrid event?
Camera count and crew size, the number of days including rehearsal, the streaming setup and level of redundancy, whether you need an engagement layer such as live Q&A or polls, and what you want delivered afterwards. Venue infrastructure is often the biggest variable. Every hybrid event is quoted individually.
