gassProductions partnered with VisitBritain to capture and produce same-day video content at their flagship Showcase Britain 2025 event — a high-profile gathering of global buyers, travel industry leaders and media held in central London.

Project Objectives

The event launched VisitBritain’s 2025 tourism campaign — “Starring GREAT Britain”. Therefore, the video brief required a fast-moving production team capable of capturing key moments and producing a fully polished 30–60 second showreel on the same day.

The final edit needed to reflect the campaign’s tone and be ready for release across VisitBritain’s social channels the very next morning.

  • 📐 Delivery of clean and vertical versions for different platforms

  • 💾 Upload of raw footage (XAVC-I and XAVC HS) to VisitBritain’s DAM

Production Approach

A mobile videographer captured a wide range of high-value moments throughout the day.

For example:

  • Welcome speeches from VisitBritain leadership

  • Live networking and business meetings

  • Walking tours showcasing historic UK landmarks

  • A Bridgerton-themed banquet highlighting British elegance

  • Live entertainment and crowd reactions

  • Iconic GREAT branding woven into scenes

Meanwhile, our in-house editor worked in parallel to begin assembling a same-day cut. As a result, we were able to deliver a polished 30–60 second 16:9 showreel aligned with VisitBritain’s brand guidelines. In addition, we created a 9:16 vertical version optimised for Instagram and TikTok.

All raw footage was then delivered in XAVC-I and XAVC HS formats and uploaded to VisitBritain’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, ensuring long-term value for future campaigns.

Final Outcome
